So I was watching MSNBC the other day and Barney Frank was busy making a point about how if the unemployment situation were better, the economy would be stronger.  Then he specifically stated the economy has weakened from back when unemployment was under 4%.

Which got me thinking, and so I went out and found this link.

What does it mean? In the past eleven years, unemployment has been under 4% exactly 4 out of 120 months.  What?  Does that mean the economy has sucked for the past 11 years?!?

Of course not - it means Barney doesn't have a clue, since he's been in Washington for, well, forever, and has lost touch with reality.

Is unemployment high right now? Well, it's certainly growing, which is bad.  But 5% is a much more realistic cap, and I suspect Barney would be bitch about that.
